Christian Von Koenigsegg provides a fascinating look at the production process of the impressive Jesko in their expanded factory. During a visit by Mr. JWW, we are treated to another peek at the intricacies involved in crafting these remarkable vehicles. The Jesko, known for its convertible design, boasts a windshield surround that also serves as a roll-over bar. The sturdy buttress behind the occupants adds an extra layer of safety. Surprisingly, even without a windshield, the hollow structure is robust enough to support a person’s weight without breaking, truly showcasing its incredible engineering.
During the recording of the video, the first production units of the Koenigsegg Jesko, including the Absolut and the Attack models, were being assembled. While currently, it takes around ten days to complete a Jesko, the goal is to streamline the process to five or six days in the near future. Christian even mentions the possibility of manufacturing a Jesko in just three days, provided there are no delays from suppliers, holidays, or custom parts needed for a specific unit. Realistically, they are aiming to produce one Jesko per week by the end of 2022.
