The latest and last Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae Roadster has been completed at the Sant’Agata factory in Italy. This signifies the conclusion of the Aventador series production, including the discontinuation of the non-hybrid naturally aspirated V12 engine.
The Aventador was first introduced by Lamborghini in 2011. Over the years, the supercar has seen 8 variations and over 10 unique one-off and limited editions. Throughout its lifecycle, Lamborghini managed to sell a total of 11,465 units of the Aventador. The ultimate version, the Ultimae, was unveiled last year.
Lamborghini manufactured 350 coupes and 250 roadsters of the Ultimae model. These vehicles come equipped with an updated 6.5-liter V12 engine that delivers 780 horsepower and 531 lb-ft of torque. The final Ultimae Roadster to be produced features a distinct light blue exterior crafted specifically for the Swiss market.
It is noteworthy that Lamborghini has sold more Aventadors than all of its previous V12 models combined. Its forerunner, the Murcielago, had a production run of 5,000 units, a notably shorter period compared to the Aventador series.
