The Convertible Lexus SC Is Such A Sporty Thing

When Lexus introduced the Lexus SC 430 back in 2002, it debuted the production of retractable hardtop convertibles for its high-end premium luxury cars. It only takes button push to change SC 430 from a coupe and in twenty-five seconds it becomes a convertible.

It was Bob Carter who was the Vice President of the Lexus Group who described saying that “the SC 430 combines the seductive appeal of an exotic convertible with the luxury and ride quality of a Lexus sedan, all with the comfort and security of a closed coupe at the touch of a button.”

This was the car that topped as America’s highest-quality vehicle 2005 and 2006 as per rating company J.D. Power and Associates Initial Quality StudySM (IQS). Lots of advanced technologies are in this car in several aspects.

It is a rear rear-wheel drive but still puts a simple practical 4.3-liter V8 engine that generates 288 horsepower and 317 pounds of torque. Using a six-speed auto gear transmission, this car hits zero-to-60 mph in just 5.8 seconds.

It is as sporty as a convertible of its salt is expected to be and does a number of admirable gymnastics on the road. At the same time. Regardless of whatever model of this convertible you drive, you are assured of a great experience.
