When Bugatti introduced the Veyron in 2005, it showcased the powerful W16 engine with four turbochargers. As the Chiron succeeded the Veyron, the engine saw an increase in horsepower, reaching an impressive 1,600 hp. The Veyron Grand Sport was a stunning convertible version of the original Veyron, but Bugatti did not release a true convertible model until 2022.
The Bugatti Mistral, limited to just 99 units and priced at €5 million, serves as the ultimate roadster and the final swansong of the W16 engine before Bugatti transitions to a hybrid model. Although previous options included two glass panels in the roof to create an airy cockpit ambiance, the Mistral marks the first official open-top Bugatti since the Chiron era.
