Founded in Los Angeles in 2009, Singer Vehicle Design has garnered international recognition for its exquisite restorations of air-cooled Porsche 911s. Utilizing a Porsche 911 from the 964 generation as a starting point, Singer artfully reinterprets each vehicle, seamlessly integrating classic design features from various Porsche eras to create a one-of-a-kind work of art.
Among their remarkable works is the “Denmark Commission,” a Porsche 911 reinterpreted by Singer and currently up for sale through RM Sotheby’s. This vehicle, adorned in Rome Red Metallic, reflects the charming red rooftops and cobblestone streets of Copenhagen’s Indre By.
The interior is exquisitely designed, providing a blend of familiarity and luxury for drivers. Capable of achieving impressive speeds, the Denmark Commission aligns with the high standards expected by Singer clientele, who appreciate both performance and visual appeal.
This vehicle, which was restored for its Danish owner in 2017, is part of Singer’s Classic Study program, which is capped at 450 cars. Featuring a fully seam-welded chassis and a 3.8-liter flat-six engine that generates 350 horsepower, it reflects the expertise of Ed Pink Racing Engines. While the engine is based on the 964 block, it incorporates custom components like pistons, cylinders, and crankshafts.
