Choosing a hypercar to invest your millions in can be quite a challenge. Let’s be honest, these vehicles don’t come cheap, with most starting above $3 million, and some reaching $5 million or more. One of the most intriguing options currently available is the Koenigsegg Jesko from Sweden. However, if your budget is at least $3 million and you are set on a Jesko, you still have some tough choices ahead. Will you select the Jesko Attack priced at $3 million or the Jesko Absolut, which adds an additional $400,000 to the price tag? And keep in mind that these prices don’t include any extras, such as carbon fiber wheels or a fully exposed carbon fiber body, which can significantly raise the final cost.
The Koenigsegg Jesko features a robust twin-turbo V8 engine with a 5-liter capacity, delivering a staggering 1,500 Nm of torque at 5,100 rpm, and generating an impressive 1,280 hp on standard gasoline. If you use E85 fuel, that output jumps to 1,600 hp. The main distinction between the Jesko Attack and the Jesko Absolut lies in their design; both models exhibit unique aerodynamic features. The Attack version is tailored for high-performance track use, while the Absolut is designed for a more refined and stealthy appearance.
But how does each variant perform on the road, and is the extra $400,000 for the Absolut justified? This premium represents nearly a 14% increase in price compared to the Attack model. In fact, some potential buyers with a Koenigsegg Jesko ordered are still undecided between the two versions.
