The T.33 Spider, the second model from the UK-based supercar manufacturer, shares the same stunning design as the coupe and boasts two removable roof panels.
Constructed on a lightweight carbon fiber monocoque, the T.33 Spider also utilizes carbon body panels to achieve minimal weight.
Despite its sleek exterior, the T.33 Spider incorporates an innovative Passive Boundary Layer Control (PBLC) system. This system uses underbody ducting along with a rear diffuser to enhance aerodynamic efficiency beyond that of standard ground effects supercars. Additionally, it is equipped with an active rear spoiler and a carbon roof scoop.
Similar to the coupe model, the Spider’s interior is both simple and practical. It features a sporty steering wheel with a central large analogue tachometer and carbon seats upholstered in Alcantara.
Powering the T.33 Spider is GMA’s 3.9-liter V12 engine, developed by Cosworth. Generating 609 hp at 10,250 rpm, with 90% of the peak torque (399 lb-ft) available in the range of 4,500 to 10,500 rpm, this engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
