In the early 2000s, I had the opportunity to work as a press photographer at endurance GT1 racing events in Europe. One standout supercar on the track during those times was the Maserati MC12 Versione Corse. It was truly impressive with its various liveries. Only 14 of these track-focused cars were ever manufactured, and they left a lasting impact with multiple victories on renowned circuits. Launched in 2004, the Maserati MC12 shared its chassis with the Ferrari Enzo. While Ferrari produced 350 Enzo units, with an additional 50 made due to high demand for the $600,000 car, the MC12 was planned for a limited run of 25 cars initially to comply with homologation regulations for the race cars.
