Originally introduced as a concept in October 2020, the Bugatti Bolide is now set to go into production with deliveries scheduled for 2024. Over time, there have been some subtle changes made to the car as it remains dedicated to the racetrack.
The latest images showcase several modifications to the design, including a shorter horseshoe grille with a tow hook replacing the vertical separator, revised splitter element with additional dive planes, four fender louvres instead of two, and a single aero blade behind the wheels instead of four seen in the concept version.
Moving on to the rear, the quad exhausts have been replaced by two oval units placed side-by-side. The rear diffuser design has been slightly altered with three additional elements forming the X-shape. The rear wing end plates have also been reworked while maintaining the shark fin.
Inside, the production model is expected to feature a more compact steering wheel and a digital dashboard consisting of three separate screens.
The Bugatti Bolide will be powered by a modified 8.0-liter W16 engine derived from the Chiron, producing an impressive 1850 hp and 1364 lb-ft of torque. Paired with a 7-speed DSG transmission and an all-wheel drive system, the Bolide boasts a power-to-weight ratio of 0.67 kg/hp and can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 2.17 seconds, with an estimated top speed of around 328 mph.
