As a standout model in Ferrari’s renowned Icona series, the Monza SP1 delivers a remarkable driving experience drawing inspiration from the iconic 750 Monza of the 1950s. Its design represents a blend of Ferrari’s rich racing legacy with state-of-the-art technology.

The body of the Monza SP1 is constructed from carbon fiber, featuring striking scissor doors and a single-piece front clamshell design. Underneath this clamshell rests an impressive 6.5-liter V12 engine taken from the Ferrari 812 Superfast, linked to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission that delivers an awe-inspiring 799 horsepower and 530 pound-feet of torque.

Enhanced intake ducts and a recalibrated ECU enable the Monza SP1 to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in merely 2.9 seconds, reaching a top speed that surpasses 299 km/h. Interestingly, this vehicle does not feature a conventional windscreen; instead, it incorporates Ferrari’s innovative “Virtual Wind Shield,” which generates a protective airflow around the driver.

With a limited production run of just 499 units for the Monza SP1 and SP2 models, the 2022 Ferrari Monza SP1 being auctioned by RM Sotheby’s on November 23 stands out as a unique vehicle. It has only 1,903 kilometers registered on the odometer, and this particular model, with chassis number 244381, features a sophisticated Titanium Grey finish complemented by an eye-catching Giallo Modena accent on the rear fin and hood.

Noteworthy features of this model include airbrushed Scuderia shields, striking yellow brake calipers, and a wealth of carbon fiber detailing on various components such as the engine cover, wheel arches, rear diffuser, and front air vents. The interior boasts a GT2 monocoque racing seat wrapped in Cioccolato leather, equipped with a four-point harness and embellished with a Testa di Moro Cavallino emblem alongside a yellow tachometer. Additional features incorporate a suspension lifter, parking cameras, and a carbon fiber luggage compartment.
