Rodin Cars, a specialized track car manufacturer based in Spalding, England, introduced its first vehicle, the Rodin FZed, which was a single-seater open-wheel Formula race car. The company has now shifted its focus to a new model, the Rodin FZero, set to be globally unveiled on August 10.
While specific details about the FZero are yet to be officially disclosed, some preliminary information has been gathered for sharing. It’s important to note that these details are unofficial and subject to change.
Unlike other high-performance track cars like the Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro or the Pagani Huayra R, the Rodin FZero stands out with its futuristic design reminiscent of fantasy Vision GT cars shown in official renderings.
The company aims for the FZero to have a lightweight of 700 kg, providing exceptional track-hugging abilities through the generation of approximately 4000 kg of downforce.
Powering the FZero is a 4.0-liter V10 engine, reportedly one of the lightest available and incorporating a significant amount of 3D printed components.
Rodin will offer two versions of the FZero – a naturally-aspirated model producing over 700 hp, promising ample power for a 700 kg vehicle. Additionally, a turbocharged V10 variant may deliver more than 1000 hp, catering to those seeking extreme performance.
This combination promises an extraordinary track car experience for enthusiasts.
