Ferrari has handed over the keys to the world’s first Ferrari 812 Competizione A. @fanchracing recently took delivery of his latest supercar and has shared these images.

This 812 Competizione A has a Grigio Titanio exterior with a yellow stripe. The interior is in black Alcantara, but does not have the optional passenger side screen. Those who have been following the owner on Instagram will know that he also owns a Monza SP2, which has a similar spec.

The owner has also revealed that removing the carbon fibre Targa top of the Aperta is pretty straightforward. The good thing about this supercar is that you can easily store the roof panel inside the boot, with space to spare for luggage.

Unlike the F12 TDF, which had a firm ride, the 812 Competizione A is expected to be more compliant. If that’s the case, it could be regarded as a true successor to the 599 SA Aperta, which was a limited-edition open-top version of the 599 GTO.

The 812 Competizione A is powered by a 6.5-liter, naturally aspirated V12 engine that produces 830 hp @ 9250 rpm and 510 lb-ft @ 7000 rpm. While the engine is similar to the one that powers the Superfast, it now revs to 9500 rpm. As a result, the car rockets to 60 mph in just 2.85 seconds, while its top speed is 211 mph.
