The Volkswagen Cross Sport is a compact SUV tailored for passengers seeking a mid-size option that isn’t overly large. The vehicle offers two engine choices: a 235-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder and a 276-hp 3.6-liter V-6.

While front-wheel drive comes as standard, the option for all-wheel drive (AWD) with VW’s 4Motion is available. One of the standout design features of this model is its sharply sloped rear window and a coupe-like roofline, creating a sleek and stylish appearance. While not as rugged as some competitors like the Jeep Grand Cherokee or Honda Passport, the Cross Sport holds its own in terms of design.

Inside, the Atlas Cross Sport is equipped with a touchscreen infotainment display that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. Optional features include navigation, a customizable digital gauge display, and SiriusXM satellite radio. The VW Car-Net connectivity app allows for remote starting and diagnostics, along with a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot for a tech-savvy driving experience.

Departing slightly from the standard Atlas, the second row features a three-person bench seat, offering impressive cargo space suitable for moderate road trips or daily use.
