At the RM Sotheby’s Paris 2025 auction, a remarkable specimen of Ferrari’s inaugural hybrid hypercar, the 2015 LaFerrari, is expected to command a price of as much as $4,150,000.

This LaFerrari is a significant achievement, marking Ferrari’s first foray into hybrid hypercars. Its powerhouse is a naturally aspirated 6,262-cc V12 engine, complemented by a Formula 1-inspired KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System). Together, they yield an impressive 963 horsepower—comprised of 789 hp from the V12 and 161 hp from the electric component.

Power is directed to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, allowing the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds. Ferrari claims a top speed exceeding 350 km/h, with a remarkable lap time of 1:19.7 around their Fiorano test track—five seconds faster than its predecessor, the Enzo.

This LaFerrari boasts a unique Giallo (yellow) exterior complemented by a contrasting Nero (black) roof, a color combination that pays tribute to Ferrari’s emblem and its roots in Modena. The vehicle’s aerodynamic features are accentuated with carbon fiber details, found on elements such as the mirror arms, front splitter, rear diffuser, and housing for the rear fog light. Inside, the design echoes the striking outside, showcasing black and yellow accents along with carbon fiber trimming and race-inspired bucket seats adorned with Ferrari’s signature Cavallino logo.

Initially delivered with five-spoke wheels in Argento Nürburgring, this LaFerrari has been upgraded to feature center-lock forged wheels sourced from the FXX-K, a track-exclusive model. These enhancements, combined with vibrant yellow brake calipers for the car’s carbon-ceramic Brembo braking system, amplify both the aggressive aesthetics and performance capabilities of the vehicle.

This LaFerrari has been meticulously maintained, with the odometer indicating just 3,459 kilometers. The car retains its original paperwork, which includes the owner’s manuals as well as the desired “Yellow Book” for limited edition models. Additionally, it is accompanied by a two-year extended warranty that remains valid until March 2026.

Overall, the vehicle exemplifies quality craftsmanship and attention to detail, sure to delight any collector or enthusiast who appreciates high-performance automobiles.
