While some people drive regular cars, others are proud owners of the Aston Martin Vulcan, an 811hp powerhouse featuring a naturally aspirated 7.0 V12 engine designed primarily for the racetrack.
With only 24 of these magnificent machines in existence worldwide, the steep price tag of $3 million hasn’t deterred enthusiasts from acquiring them, even though driving one on public roads has been off-limits. Surprisingly, purchasing this car also comes with the added bonus of having a personal driver to teach you how to navigate its capabilities!
However, one daring individual dared to take on the challenge of making this track-focused beast street legal. The decision to modify such an exclusive vehicle for road use raises eyebrows but also underscores the passion and dedication of true automotive enthusiasts.
The modifications necessary to comply with street regulations included installing a new carbon-fiber splitter, adding extra headlights, and tweaking the engine specifications for emission standards. This extensive overhaul involved adjustments to gear ratios, suspension tuning, and even replacing the side mirrors.
Additional upgrades such as windshield wipers, turn-signal indicators, new windows, and the essential license plate were also part of the transformation. While these modifications come at a significant cost, they pale in comparison to the sheer satisfaction of being able to cruise around the neighborhood in a street-legal supercar.
