A driver lost their life in a devastating road collision involving a vintage Bugatti and an ambulance.
Reports indicate that the incident occurred on the A6’s northbound stretch between Barton-le-Clay and Clophill in Bedfordshire last Saturday. Apparently, the ambulance was en route to an emergency response when it collided with the Bugatti under unknown circumstances.
Emergency services, including the Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue team and an air ambulance, promptly arrived at the crash site. Unfortunately, the 50-year-old Bugatti driver was declared deceased at the scene.
Local authorities are actively investigating the circumstances of the accident and are encouraging any witnesses to step forward to aid in the inquiry.
