The Ferrari 599 GTO is a rare gem in the world of Ferraris. Only 599 of these beauties were ever created, with a mere 125 of them making their way to the United States.
Launched in April 2010, the 2011 Ferrari 599 Gran Turismo Omologata (GTO) was a road-legal version of the fearsome 599XX track model.
Despite its aluminum bodyshell, this car is not light by any means. It boasts a massive 6-liter V12 engine placed between the front wheels, delivering a powerful 612 to 661 bhp. This powerhouse allows the Ferrari to reach a maximum speed of 208mph at the 8400rpm rev limit.
During its production, the Ferrari 599 GTO received upgrades such as new springs, dampers, electronic systems, wheels, tires, and the latest carbon-ceramic brakes. This car was designed to thrill drivers and astonish onlookers.
With its limited production numbers, the scarcity of the Ferrari 599 GTO adds to its desirability. Originally priced at a premium in 2011, its value has only grown with time.
