The Ascari KZ1 was unveiled in 2003 at the exclusive Race Resort Ascari in Southern Spain. A select group of guests treated to this remarkable creation witnessed its elegant design and impressive power. This supercar boasted a carbon fiber chassis and featured advanced technology for its time.
Equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission and a central carbon fiber honeycomb monocoque structure, the KZ1 could accelerate from zero to 60mph in just four seconds. Its top speed reached an impressive 200 mph, thanks to the potent 4941cc engine.
There were two versions of the KZ1: a luxury sports coupe and the track-focused Ascari KZ1-R. Powered by a V8 engine sourced from a BMW M5 with a displacement of 5.0 liters, this car was a rare gem in the automotive world.
With only a limited number produced, the Ascari KZ1 made its mark in automotive history. It even achieved the title of the 5th fastest car at the British auto show Top Gear in November 2005, clocking a time of 1 minute 20.7 seconds.
