The popularity of SUVs continues to rise with more people joining the trend every day.
The Opel Grandland X is part of this SUV wave, following the footsteps of its relatives, the Crossland X and Mokka X. It competes in size with models like the Nissan Qashqai, Peugeot 3008, and Skoda Karoq, sharing similarities with the Peugeot 3008 due to a joint venture during development.
The Grandland X is a modern mid-size SUV with multiple engine choices. The base model features a 1.2-liter engine producing 130 horsepower and 169 pound-feet of torque. There are also diesel options, including a 1.5-liter engine delivering the same power but higher torque at 221 pound-feet. Opting for the 2.0-liter diesel engine provides 177 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.
Transmission options include a standard six-speed manual and an eight-speed automatic for higher trims. The Grandland X isn’t aiming to change the SUV landscape but strives to offer a competitive and capable choice, especially for families.
