It is right to say that Mercedes, like any other major player worth its credentials, is seeing very far. The ultimate gauge is the kind of ideas that continue to roll of these companies.
A few years ago, Mercedes hinted at the exotically ambitious and futuristic F015 Concept. This, the company said, would be a car that exhales more luxury inside out.
Going by the specs outlined this car would be a bespoke, outstanding crazily designed automobile that makes heads turn wherever it goes. Super luxury in an autonomous car. Nothing much has been said as follow up to these outrageously futuristic ideas, but at least we know how the car would be powered.
The vehicle’s drivetrain would be through a fuel-cell combination drawing an incredible 684 miles. This egg-shaped car should comfortably seat four adults.
Perhaps to underline the extent to which luxurious cruising on this car would go, one executive said it will “ultimately become a mobile living space.” For it to perform optimally, this car will rely on modern technologies such as radar, laser, and 3D video cameras as well as any other permissible technology to come.
It has been appropriately dubbed the Luxury in Motion and depicts what luxurious driving could look like by 2030. One of the most spectacular aspects of it, however, is that Mercedes is willing to put at stake heavy investments on a car that would be one of the most expensive on the planet.
