Maserati has revealed the convertible version of the MC20 supercar, known as the MC20 Cielo, and we can’t get enough of it!

The MC20 is already a stunning coupe, and the Cielo takes it up a notch. With a retractable hardtop that tucks away in just 12 seconds, trading 143 lbs for the joy of wind in your hair in a beautiful Italian car seems like a fair deal.

Built on the same lightweight monocoque as the coupe, the MC20 Cielo sports a redesigned rear decklid with dual buttresses. The roof comes with electrochromic glass that lets occupants adjust the cabin’s light intake. Visually, it remains faithful to the coupe’s design.

Mechanically, it stays true to its roots. The MC20 Cielo houses a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine generating 621 hp @ 7500 rpm and 538 lb-ft of torque at 3000 rpm. Coupled with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission sending power to the rear wheels, Maserati claims the convertible can go from 0-62 mph in 3 seconds and hit nearly 200 mph.
