The Lamborghini Aventador has been a significant hit for Automobili Lamborghini SpA ever since it made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in 2011 as the LP700-4 model, where the LP stood for approximately 700 horsepower and four-wheel drive. The model also includes the v12 engine positioned longitudinally at the rear. Initially known by the internal model number LB834 during assembly, rumors suggested that Lamborghini initially intended to produce just enough molds for 4,000 units of the carbon fiber tub, a figure that was on par with the total production of the Murciélago, the Aventador’s predecessor. However, the actual production numbers would turn out to be quite different.
