The McLaren 750S Is More Than Just A Facelifted 720S

For the last six years, the 720S was McLaren’s quickest and most powerful series production model to date, until the 750S came out.

It uses the same twin-turbocharged V8 engine that has been upgraded to produce 740 HP and 800 Nm of torque, which translates to 0-62 MPH in 2.8 seconds, 0-124 MPH in 7.2 seconds, and a top speed of 206 MPH.

While it’s true that it looks just the same as its predecessor, McLaren claims that the 750S features a raft of upgrades and enhancements over the 720s with reports suggesting that approximately 30% of the supercar’s components are either new or modified.

So, what are these upgrades? Well, let’s have Ollie Kew from Top Gear magazine breakdown it all for us as he drives both the coupe and spider version to see the differences between the 750S and and the 720S.
