The Lexus RC offers a choice of three different engines: a turbo four-cylinder and two non-turbo V-6s. However, its standout feature is its ability to provide a smooth ride and a cozy interior that comfortably accommodates two occupants.
Standard driver-assistance features include automated emergency braking and adaptive cruise control. The RC has been subtly refreshed in this year’s model, with updates to the front and rear bumpers, lighting elements, wheel designs, and exterior mirrors. Inside, enhancements such as a new analog dash clock, revised ignition switch button, improved cupholders, and a driver-friendly console-mounted knee pad contribute to a more luxurious feel.
Lexus has also made tweaks to the suspension, power steering, and turbo four-cylinder logic to enhance performance. Apple CarPlay, Amazon Alexa integration, and Lexus’s Enform Remote app, compatible with smartwatches, are now standard features.
The optional Premium package now includes memory settings, a power tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, rain-sensing wipers, heated and ventilated front seats, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. The base model of the RC is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 241 horsepower and paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Only available in rear-wheel drive configuration, the RC maintains a consistent performance over the years, staying true to the Lexus brand’s reputation for quality.
Consumers can truly appreciate the wealth of experience and innovation that Lexus brings to their vehicles.
