The Lamborghini LB48H, revealed at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show, marks a significant milestone in the company’s history. This hybrid supercar is not just a showcase of style but a peek into Lamborghini’s future direction. Stefano Domenicali, CEO of Lamborghini, announced that the successors to the Aventador and Huracan will combine electric motors with high-revving naturally aspirated engines.
The upcoming Lamborghini Munico, powered by a 6.6-liter naturally aspirated engine generating 789 hp, will be complemented by an electric motor adding 49 hp for a total output of 838 hp. With its immense power, this vehicle requires meticulous design to fulfill its lofty goals.
While electric components in hybrids often add weight, advancements in this area are rapidly evolving. Limited to just 63 units priced at $2.5 million each, the Lamborghini LB48H has already sold out.
