The production of the Ford GT supercar is nearing its conclusion this year. To honor this legendary model, Ford has introduced a special edition known as the Ford GT LM.
The Ford GT LM pays homage to the car’s victory at the 2016 Le Mans 24 Hours race. It flaunts a Liquid Silver exterior with distinctive blue accents reminiscent of the iconic no. 68 Ford GT that clinched victory in its class in 2016. Furthermore, buyers can personalize the splitter, door sills, engine bay louvers, rear diffuser, and mirror stalks with red or blue carbon options.
Inside, the Ford GT LM boasts carbon bucket seats upholstered in Alcantara. The driver’s seat can be customized in red or blue. Each vehicle comes with a unique ‘GT LM’ badge crafted from the reprocessed crankshaft of the 2016 Ford GT Le Mans racer that secured third place.
Although Ford has not disclosed the exact price of the GT LM special edition, it is expected to exceed the base price of $450,000. This exclusive model will have a limited production run of only 20 units.
