If you had around $600,000 to spend on a new vehicle, which one would you choose? While a new Lamborghini Revuelto may be out of your price range, you might consider a 2024 Ferrari 812 Competizione. This model, an upgraded version of the Superfast, is designed for speed and features a powerful V12 engine at the front. The 812 Competizione is still a grand tourer, boasting a long hood over a thumping V12 that produces 820 horsepower at the wheels. You’ll certainly make a lasting impression when you take the wheel of this iconic Prancing Horse.
The Ferrari 812 Competizione has swapped out the rear window for a carbon fiber panel with fins to enhance airflow. It also includes a rearview camera to help you park your $600,000 supercar without damaging the costly rear bumper. The distinctions between the Superfast and the Competizione go beyond aesthetics; the Competizione features a larger carbon fiber rear diffuser and a more aggressive design, including a prominently enlarged ‘ducktail’ rear spoiler.
The front of the car features a carbon fiber ‘fin’ that stretches across the hood from left to right. This element complements the newly designed, deeper front bumper, which has bolder air intakes also crafted from carbon fiber. The Ferrari 812 Competizione is a limited edition vehicle; only 999 units of the coupe will be produced, with an even smaller number of just 599 convertible versions known as the 812 Competizione A or Aperta. Inside, the car is designed with weight reduction in mind, offering two carbon fiber sport seats covered in Alcantara. The central console, door panels, and dashboard all incorporate numerous carbon fiber components along with Alcantara and lightweight fabrics, focusing entirely on enhancing performance and minimizing weight.
