In the automotive industry, Lamborghini is the kind of brand you have to pay attention to even when you aren’t very keen about what they say or claim.
Lamborghini’s challenging attitude has now been amplified several times over with the unveiling of the 2020 Huracán Evo coupe and Spyder. All this will come along with some epic numbers we cannot quite ignore.
The Evo will carry a 5.2-liter V-10 engine capable of producing no less than 631 horsepower at 8,000 rpm. It will gather 442 lb-ft at 6,500 rpm. The refurbished interior is also a good piece of artwork. It brings around an 8.4-inch touchscreen doing away with a whole bunch of buttons.
Through what the company calls Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata (LDVI) system, you are fed with as much information via a central processor that enhances the chassis’ performance for any situation. The company further tells us that using lots of sensors aspects such as braking, problems with steering, acceleration and even gear selection can be anticipated well in advance using the LDVI.
The Evo has an average weight of 3750 pounds. With a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox that is well-aligned to an all-wheel-drive system, the Evo Spyder hits 60mph in a mere 3.1 seconds. This is by no means an easy speed to handle but rather requires some level of road readiness.
The Evo is poised to bring an additional element of technology, sportier look, and athleticism. It has what it takes to amuse.
