Recently, we shared an article about the completion and upcoming delivery of all twelve Bentley Mulliner Bacalars to their owners. Now, Bentley’s Mulliner, the internal custom building department, shifts its focus to the next unique project. The Bentley Mulliner Batur, the prototype of which has already been constructed, will be unveiled globally at the Monterey Car Week on Sunday, August 21 in California. While some may perceive the Batur as the successor to the Bacalar, this new vehicle will introduce a fresh design language for Bentley, offering a sneak peek at the aesthetic of Bentley’s future lineup of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV).
The name “Batur” like “Bacalar” is inspired by the stunning natural feature, Lake Batur. This lake, located in Kintamani on the Indonesian island of Bali, is an 88-meter deep, 16 square kilometer crater lake.
