We’ve seen Asian automakers such as KIA Motors and Hyundai boldly disrupting the car market. Some of their brands have managed to incorporate awesome characteristics such as affordable pricing, low fuel consumption, off-road functionalities among others to become great ambassadors for the company.
The KIA Ceed, now in its third generation has been built to further the car being know for innovation. The new 2019 version is meant to make a statement on the company’s next move.
It is worth mentioning more than 1.28 million have rolled out of the company’s Slovakian manufacturing facility since December 2006. Emilio Herrera, Chief Operating Officer for Kia Motors Europe, emphasized the significance of this car to the European market.
He said,”After more than a decade on sale, the Kia Ceed continues to underpin the brand’s consistent growth across Europe. Like its predecessors, the new model has been designed and engineered exclusively for European buyers, fine-tuned thanks to the feedback from a growing Kia customer base.” Adding that “the new model builds on everything that owners loved about earlier generation.
The new Ceed gets finer suspension with stiffer springs, new bushings, a stiffer anti-roll bar, and a bit less intrusive ESC, all of which make it a good respondent to acceleration and agility. The brakes now get 320-millimeter discs up from 288-millimeter units.
Is this an exceptional hatchback? We think it is by all standards.
