Steve Dinan made a name for himself by creating some of the fastest and most reliable BMWs. He founded Dinan in 1979, which later became Dinan Engineering Inc. By 2013, he sold his company to Driven Performance Brands but stayed on until 2015. After a brief stint with Ganassi Racing, he returned to tuning cars for the road under the name CarBahn Autoworks, expanding beyond BMW to work on Mercedes-AMG, Porsche, Audi S, and RS models.
