The motoring industry thrives quite a lot of speculation and hearsay. Quite often, some of the expectations and candid announcements never give the desired fruits and even cars that even new launches get canceled at the very last minute.
Mazda has played around with the idea of the RX-Series for some time, and it is obvious we are yet to see the finest of this promise. The latest we’ve heard about this development is the RX-9 slated to come over sometimes in 2020.
The RX idea can be traced back to 2015 when Mazda introduced what was known as the RX-Vision concept. It was rumored that it would take the new rotary engine design developed by the company.
This engine is now rumored to go into the RX-9, which makes sufficient fodder for enthusiasts and observes keenly following developments of the RX line. In particular, this engine employs internal combustion through a triangular rotor and eccentric drive shaft, as opposed to the reciprocating pistons of a conventional combustion engine. The best part of it is that it claims smoother operations, greater performance, and a compact size.
This car has got Mazda fans hyped up for several reasons. Besides the engine, the design is also an amazing masterpiece which is further aggregated by the fact that this car will ride on an entirely new platform.
