The Audi A8 that has been around for two years now is no doubt a gifted machine that is worth the attention of any car enthusiast. It knows how to handle the road, has a firm grip, and drives smooth.
The exterior is simple styling but the interior absorbs nicely laid tech gadgets, seats and spaces. With its 3.0-liter V-6 engine, its no bad cruiser and can be your ultimate daily ride.
But the Audi A8 that packs 563-horsepower and scheduled to come our way in 2020 has caught our attention. It is an enormous machine that harbors a twin-turbo V-8 engine consuming 4.0-liters. This one will generate some 563 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque.
It has a rather easy-going 48-volt hybrid system. It is enough for stop-start power as well as lengthy coasting. To help send power to all four wheels, an eight-speed automatic transmission is in place.
The new suspension is fitted with electromechanical features, meaning it can independently lift and push down the wheels. This car is also able to do a three-degree tilt at a corner.
The car can also tilt its body into a corner while turning up to three degrees. Despite all of that, Audi promises comfort levels will remain on-par with the standard car.
Rear-wheel steering is also standard, as is an Audi Sport rear differential and 10-piston front brake calipers. Carbon-ceramic brakes are available as an option, which Audi says saves 21 pounds over the iron discs.
