The special edition Porsche 911 Dakar is designed to handle both loose terrains and country roads effortlessly. Limited to 2,500 units worldwide, this exclusive model showcases the versatility of the Porsche 911 concept.
It pays homage to Porsche’s first overall victory at the 1984 Paris-Dakar Rally, marking the debut of the all-wheel-drive system in a Porsche 911. To celebrate this milestone, the new 911 Dakar will offer an optional Rallye Design Package inspired by the iconic winning car from 1984.
The 2024 Porsche 911 Dakar is a crossover coupe designed for off-roading with a higher ride height than the 911 Carrera model equipped with Sport Suspension. The Dakar features a lift system that raises the front and rear by 30mm, providing similar ride height and ramp-over angles to traditional SUVs.
This car is equipped with all-terrain Pirelli tires featuring a tread depth of 9mm. These tires are constructed with reinforced sidewalls and two carcass layers, making them perfect for off-road adventures. The Porsche 911 Dakar is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo Boxer engine producing 473 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft. of torque, powering all four wheels. It also offers various driving modes to enhance performance on off-road terrain.
