If you haven’t seen an amazingly outstanding car from a rather little-known automaker, it means you haven’t set your eyes on the Spyker C8 Preliator Spyder. This car is as unique as it is uncommon. If your bank account can allow a transaction crossing above $400 000, talk to the Dutch manufacturer.
The convertible will carry a Koenigsegg-built 5.0-liter V-8 engine and a carbon fiber-body to enable it to cruise perfectly.
With the ability to produce 600 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque, a 6-speed manual transmission, this is a superbly created unit that will very well ride on leading supercars.
The manufacturer says the vehicle will gain up to 201 mph in top speed. Such a high-riding brand benefits greatly from well-developed aerodynamic performances.
The C8 Preliator Spyder boasts of high-resolution computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations developed in conjunction with Wirth Research Ltd.
The interior of this car is something to behold, just like its predecessor. Full-grain, semi-aniline Litano leather has been used on the upholstery, coming with honeycomb theme and contrasting stitching to make it more conspicuous.
It is something that the automaker takes a lot of pride in saying, “The bull hide leather used in the Spyker C8 Preliator Spyder is crafted in a state-of-the-art tannery, a 4th generation family business with a history that dates back until 1906 when the grandfather of the current owners started a vegetable-tannery, located in the south of Holland.”
The infotainment and audio system are nothing short of modernity. Right from the system, you can play your music from Spotify and Apple Music.
It also features Bluetooth support and iPhone connection abilities. The stereo comprises of aluminum speakers on and a 300-watt amplifier, with which you can disturb the neighborhood.
If the Netherlands-built car meant to make a statement, then it really has upped the game. With only 50 units set to be delivered, this super car is poised to differentiate itself in more than one way.
