Skoda has made its mark in the electric car market with the Skoda Vision iV concept. This vehicle is based on Volkswagen’s Modular Electric Drive Kit (MEB) platform and is designed to embody the futuristic concept of electric vehicle driving.
One of the standout features of the Skoda Vision iV is its innovative interior and exterior design. It offers advanced features such as gesture control for the infotainment system and a sophisticated autonomous driving system boasting Level 3 technology. It also includes a reliable monitoring system to ensure driver compliance with instructions.
The Skoda Vision iV has embraced the latest trends by eliminating outdoor door handles and using eco-friendly Ultrasuede material for the upholstery. While the swivel seats in the cabin may not make it to production, they provide a visually stunning experience.
Skoda claims that this car can achieve a maximum range of 310 miles (500km) on a single charge, surpassing the 200-mile range of many top-tier EVs. This impressive range is powered by an 83-kWh lithium-ion battery, with the motors delivering a total of 225 kW and 302 horsepower. The Skoda iV promises an exciting driving experience, especially when taking corners.
