An individual who seemed truly impressed by the 2019 Honda Pilot Elite had this to say about it: “This three-row crossover SUV’s exceptional mix of practicality, comfort, and safety makes it as essential to family life as Wet Wipes, Costco, and perhaps Total Wine.” Quite amusing, isn’t it? However, there is a lot of truth in those words when you take a closer look at the Honda Pilot Elite.

This vehicle is substantial, offering enough space to accommodate a nuclear family and even lend a hand to the neighbor’s family. It combines space, style, and technology in a way that won’t disappoint. There are plenty of reasons to fall in love with this car.

The Elite is powered by a high-end 3.5-liter V-6 engine that produces 280 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque. It is available in various trims including LX, EX, EX-L, Touring, and Elite. The LX, EX, and EX-L models come equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission, while the Touring and Elite models feature a 9-speed automatic transmission.

Front-wheel drive is standard, but you have the option to upgrade to all-wheel drive for an additional cost of around $1,900. The Pilot Elite comes with all-wheel drive as standard.

In today’s world, luxury vehicles are expected to come equipped with advanced technology features to stay competitive. The 2019 Pilot offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto starting from the EX trim level and above.

The infotainment features you receive will vary depending on the trim level you choose. One of the standout technology features in the Elite trim is CabinControl, a downloadable smartphone app that allows passengers to control the Pilot’s audio system. Another unique feature is CabinTalk, which enables the driver to communicate with rear-seat passengers through headphones while they are watching a movie or through the rear speakers.

This is a spacious vehicle designed to provide a comfortable ride for 7 to 8 passengers. With numerous compartments and pockets located throughout the cabin and a highly adaptable center console, you’ll feel right at home in the Pilot Elite.

Honda’s designers have thoughtfully incorporated spaces for various-sized beverages, notepads, pens, and cell phones all around the cabin. The primary goal here is to ensure supreme comfort while on the go, and this goal is achieved with a touch of elegance.
