Ferrari recently introduced the SF90 XX, marking a departure from the norm of the XX program, which traditionally focuses on track-oriented models such as the 599XX and FXXK. Notably, this marks Ferrari’s first road-legal XX model. The SF90 XX boasts twice the downforce of the standard SF90, is lighter, and achieves a 0-62mph time of 2.3 seconds.
In essence, this all-wheel-drive plug-in hybrid, delivering a combined 1016 horsepower, blurs the line between Ferrari’s top-tier supercars and the previously track-exclusive XX-labeled specials.
Top Gear got an up-close look at it, test drove it on the track, and observed its attempt to break a lap record around Ferrari’s Fiorano testing circuit.
