The McLaren F1, a supercar, was designed and produced by McLaren Automotive, the same company behind the highly successful Formula 1 team. Initially a concept created by Gordon Murray, it gained the support of Ron Dennis, who then enlisted Peter Stevens to craft the car’s exterior. The McLaren F1 first hit the scene in 1992. It was a car built without constraints and represented a significant leap forward in almost every conceivable aspect, fundamentally changing our perceptions of supercars.
