Rare Lamborghini Veneno Coupe Is Up For Sale

The Lamborghini Veneno, which is built on the Aventador platform, was launched to celebrate Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary. Revealed at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, it came with a staggering price of $4 million, making it one of the priciest production cars globally.

Lamborghini aimed to design the Veneno like a racing prototype while ensuring it remained street-legal, leading to significant design changes compared to previous models. Although the Veneno retained the Aventador’s carbon-fiber monocoque chassis, aluminum sub-frames, and push-rod suspension, its exterior underwent significant modifications to boost aerodynamics and downforce.

The Veneno features a sizable adjustable rear wing made of carbon fiber, along with center-lock alloy wheels designed with turbine-like carbon rings to help cool the carbon ceramic brakes. It rides on Pirelli P-Zero tires, and while its interior closely resembles that of the Aventador, it includes ‘carbon skin’ upholstery from the Aventador J.

The Veneno is powered by a modified version of the 6.5-liter V12 engine found in the Aventador. This enhanced engine includes larger air intakes and a revamped exhaust system, increasing its output to 740 horsepower. The vehicle maintains its seven-speed semi-automatic transmission, which has been refined with a new ‘track’ option to improve performance on the race circuit.

The Lamborghini Veneno boasts an impressive maximum speed of 221 mph and can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds. The company produced only four units of this model: one was retained by Lamborghini for the Geneva Show (chassis zero), while the other three were sold to customers.

If you’re interested in owning one of the most exclusive Lamborghinis ever produced, you’re in luck! SBX Cars has a 2014 Lamborghini Veneno coupe for sale, which has only been driven 127 miles since it was brand new. It’s going to cost a pretty penny to get your hands on this ultra-rare Lamborghini with such low mileage!
