SBX Cars is thrilled to showcase the incredibly rare and enchanting 2020 Ferrari Monza SP1. This particular model, presented in eye-catching Rosso Fiorano with Argento Nürburgring highlights and a Nero interior, has only 140 kilometers (87 miles) on the clock, rendering it essentially unused.
As a part of Ferrari’s prestigious Icona line, the Monza SP1 provides a singular driving experience that pays homage to the iconic 750 Monza from the 1950s. Its design marries Ferrari’s rich racing legacy with state-of-the-art technology. A standout feature is the absence of a conventional windscreen, replaced with Ferrari’s groundbreaking “Virtual Wind Shield” that generates a protective airflow around the driver. Limited to just 499 units, including its two-seater sibling, the SP2, the Monza SP1 is a highly sought-after collector’s vehicle.
The Monza SP1’s exterior is made of carbon fiber and features striking scissor doors along with a single-piece front clamshell. Beneath this clamshell resides a powerful 6.5-liter V12 engine, derived from the Ferrari 812 Superfast. This engine is coupled with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, generating an impressive 799 horsepower and 530 pound-feet of torque. Thanks to improved intake ducts and a recalibrated ECU, the Monza SP1 can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed that exceeds 299 km/h.
The exterior of the vehicle showcases a striking Rosso Fiorano coating complemented by Argento Nürburgring accents, featuring airbrushed Scuderia Ferrari emblems and integrated mirrors seamlessly designed into its carbon fiber front end. Noteworthy elements include dihedral doors, exposed carbon fiber on the front spoiler, side skirts, and rear diffuser, along with a full-width LED tail light. The aesthetic is finalized with 21-inch forged wheels, equipped with Pirelli P Zero tires, and carbon-ceramic brakes marked with Ferrari branding.
Stepping inside, the Nero interior boasts a monocoque carbon fiber racing bucket seat tailored with a 4-point harness. Enhancements like Bordeaux stitching, an embroidered Prancing Horse logo, a flat-bottom carbon fiber steering wheel equipped with paddle shifters, and sophisticated digital displays enhance the driving experience. Additional features include front and rear parking cameras, automatic climate control, and a nose lift system for improved utility.
