On February 5, 2025, RM Sotheby’s will host an auction in Paris featuring a rare 2011 Koenigsegg Agera. With a projected price of up to $2,400,000, this hypercar is one of just seven Ageras crafted between 2010 and 2011.
The Agera debuted in 2010 as a successor to Koenigsegg’s CC line. It boasts a twin-turbo 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces about 950 horsepower, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission driving the rear wheels.
This particular vehicle, referred to as the Agera “X,” was originally commissioned by a German client in 2011. It showcases a Formula 1-inspired two-tier rear wing and was the first Koenigsegg to feature a satin carbon fibre finish instead of a glossy lacquer. The car’s distinct design incorporates red “claw” stripes outlined in white, which enhance the front clamshell, along with matching pinstripes on its turbine-style Vortex Generating Rims, designed to improve brake cooling and downforce.
The interior of the Agera saw significant updates with a factory refurbishment in 2020, which replaced the original white leather with a combination of black leather and Alcantara, featuring red stitching and brushed aluminum controls. The seats are adorned with the colors of the Swedish flag, paying tribute to Koenigsegg’s legacy.
This Agera is affiliated with the “Ghost Squadron,” a select series of tours designed for Koenigsegg owners and represented by the “GS” emblem on its side. With just 20,367 kilometers recorded on the odometer, it is in superb condition and comes with comprehensive maintenance documentation.
