Mr JWW had the opportunity to experience a ride in one such AMR Pro with Nico Hulkenberg at the helm. This track-only hypercar tore through some scorching laps at the Silverstone National circuit, offering James a firsthand display of what this extraordinary machine is capable of.
The Valkyrie AMR Pro can be likened to a Le Mans prototype on steroids. Its 6.5-liter, naturally aspirated V12 engine hits 11,000 rpm and churns out over 1000 horsepower. Adding to its prowess are copious amounts of downforce generated by the F1-style front splitter, diffuser, and the imposing rear wing.
With a massively potent engine propelling a lithe hypercar, and an F1 driver steering the way, the outcome is nothing short of breathtaking. The AMR Pro zipped around the short loop in an impressive 47.41 seconds, showcasing the effective downforce as Nico skillfully maneuvered the car through Copse at speeds exceeding 200 km/h.
