Carwow has organized an exciting drag race for us, pitting the powerful Porsche 918 hypercar against a Red Bull WRX Rallycross car.
The Porsche 918 is equipped with a 4.6-liter naturally-aspirated V8 engine, along with two electric motors, producing a combined output of 887 horsepower and 1,280 Newton meters of torque! This modern-day Porsche icon weighs around 1,674 kilograms and comes with a hefty price tag if you want to own one.
On the other side, we have the WRX rallycross car, which is based on a Peugeot 208 rally car and features a 2-liter turbocharged engine that generates 620 horsepower. All the power is sent to the four wheels for maximum grip.
The WRX demonstrates impressive acceleration from the beginning, but can it beat the 918 over the quarter-mile distance? To find out, watch the video below!
