RM Sotheby’s is providing a rare opportunity to acquire a 2016 Porsche 911 R at their upcoming Miami auction.
The 911 R was a highly anticipated car at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. Designed as a focused driver’s car, it was exclusively available with a 6-speed manual transmission.
Under the hood, the 911 R is equipped with the same engine found in the 997-gen 911 GT3, a powerful 4.0-liter flat-6 engine producing 500 hp, delivering power to the rear wheels.
Porsche manufactured only 991 units of the 911 R, and the model up for auction has just 28 miles on the clock. It features a white exterior with red stripes complemented by a black interior.
Upon its release, the 911 R was priced at nearly $214,000 and is anticipated to command a price between $525,000-$600,000 at the upcoming Miami auction.
