The first leaked photos of the upcoming 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS have emerged online. These images, shared by @liucunyi_starandcar, offer a sneak peek at the highly anticipated new 911 before its official debut.
One of the key distinctions between the 911 GT3 and the GT3 RS is the aerodynamic package. While the GT3 is track-ready, the GT3 RS takes it up a notch with a more aggressive design. The front end features wide intakes, dual NACA ducts, fender louvres, and additional guiding vanes on the sides.
The rear of the 911 GT3 RS boasts sporty elements as well, featuring an intricate diffuser, a small lip spoiler, and a standout rear wing. Notably, the rear wing is active, dynamically adjusting its angle of attack based on downforce requirements.
Inside the vehicle, the new 911 GT3 RS comes with a standard semi-digital instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment system. As a high-performance track-focused model, Porsche has included additional rotary dials on the steering wheel for easy access to various drive modes and chassis settings.
Speculations indicate that the upcoming GT3 RS might be equipped with a 4.0-liter flat-6 engine generating an estimated 530-550 horsepower. However, enthusiasts will have to wait until August 17 for an official confirmation.
