With Monterey Car Week just around the corner, supercar makers have started announcing their line-up for this year’s event. Aston Martin will have an “ultra special car”, while Lamborghini could reveal the production-spec Huracan Sterrato.

We are yet to hear from Porsche, however, we do know that the new 911 GT3 RS is likely to be presented at Pebble Beach. Besides this hardcore track car, Porsche could also debut a ‘Heritage mode’ inspired by the iconic Porsche 356.

According to our sources, this ‘Heritage Design Porsche’ is likely to be offered in limited numbers and if rumors are anything to go by, production could be limited to just 100 units. It is also said that the car will come with very few options.

The Heritage Design model is expected to be based on an existing 911. The exact details though are not known. Similarly, we still haven’t anything about the engine that will power this special edition.
