Car brands often evoke nostalgic memories for enthusiasts that transcend borders. The iconic Peugeot 504, with its distinctive lion emblem on the grille, has been a star on the roads for over 50 years.
This year, Peugeot celebrates the 50th anniversary of the 504 with an exciting transformation. At the Paris Auto show, the company unveiled the e-Legend all-electric prototype, based on the 504 platform. Designer director Gilles Vidal emphasized that the e-Legend will draw strength from the DNA of the Peugeot 504 Coupé.
Enthusiasts eagerly await the debut of this new creation in the era of electric vehicles. The e-Legend is set to be a powerhouse, boasting all-wheel drive and a range of about 600 kilometers on a single charge. With 450 bhp and 590 pound-feet of torque, the e-Legend promises a thrilling driving experience.
Featuring a 100-kilowatt-hour battery pack, the e-Legend will offer four driving modes: two autonomous (Soft and Sharp) and two manual (Legend and Boost). In autonomous mode, Soft provides essential information on the display, while Sharp allows for more interactive features, ideal for business or social networking.
Switching to manual mode, Legend offers a traditional driving experience, while Boost provides a futuristic view of the road with a 180-degree display. Peugeot’s innovative use of technology in the e-Legend sets high expectations for this electric coupe.
