Among influential updates on the 2019 GT3 is an upgraded weight distribution, a change in engine position(moving it slightly to the back about 6 inches) to enhance center of gravity and even taking it a little lower using dry sump lubrication system.
Aerodynamic optimization is redefined so that the racing car acquires a better downforce. Weighing around 3,000 pounds the car is light enough to move as required while being able to retain its grip on the tarmac.
Transmission is also far much improved as is durability and reliability. In the end, the vehicle has a longer maintenance cycle. The GT3 model has traditionally carried a twin-turbo, 3.8-liter V-6 that gives out 600 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque.
This vehicle first came from the automaker’s studios in 2012. Since then several updates have been featured and performance considerably enhanced. The vehicle has accordingly won several races in hugely challenging environments.
Going by what has been presented for the 2019 rollout, Nissan is eager to retain this legacy and see the brand continue performing miracles on racing tracks around the globe. An award-winning brand like this attracts immense interest all round and we would expect to see it scale even higher heights in the coming days.
