Hennessey Performance has revealed a glimpse of the upcoming Venom F5 Roadster. Although only a few images have been shared on Instagram, the official launch is scheduled for August 19.
The Roadster model will feature the same carbon tub with a potential addition of a removable top. The overall design appears largely unchanged, with a rear end similar to the coupe and equipped with the familiar horseshoe-shaped LED tail lights.
Under the hood, the Venom F5 Roadster will house a 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing an impressive 1817 hp at 8000 rpm and 1,193 lb-ft at 5000 rpm, coupled with a semi-automatic single-clutch transmission.
Reports indicate that the Roadster will have a more limited production compared to the coupe version, with a slightly higher price tag. Further specifics are set to be disclosed in the near future.
